Noah
The VIP of the week is Noah. His favorite number is 9, color is red, and TV show is The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. He likes mornings, Christmas and football. His friends are Danielle, Danny, and Grant. Have a great week Noah!
This week in math we are starting division! We are starting simply with dividing with macaroni pieces. Next week we are continuing with division and learning new tricks with it.
In reading we are finishing our adinkra cloths that go with our story The Talking Cloth. They are looking amazing. We are alos writing paragraphs to go with our cloths to describe them.
In writing we are adding more detail to our Halloween costumes or favorite outfit paragraph. On Tuesday we learned how to make our sentences more interesting. New sentences should definately spice up our paragraphs!
In grammar we are working with pronouns. Pronouns replace a noun. Common pronouns are he, she, it, me, etc... Please help your child with their homework if they are struggling with it.
In American history, we are continuing with presenting our posters. Next week I will post pictures of each team's poster, I can't wait for you to see them!
Our Food Drive has begun! From now until December 15th please send in canned food, boxed food, or drinks to share with our less fortunate neighbors. For each item of food they bring, the children receive a ticket. Having lots of tickets can be very helpful when it's prize box time!
