Carly

The VIP of the week is Carly. Carly likes dogs, Christmas, and Dennys. Her favorite number is 8, movie is Barnyard and day of the week is Saturday. Her friends are Cheyanne, Tiffany, Mary and Kristen. Have a great week Carly.

This week in math we are continuing with multiplication. On Monday we learned the 4s. On Wednesday and Thursday we are practicing multiplying to the 5s and finding missing factors. It is very important that your child memorize their multiplication facts so they don't fall behind.

In reading we are continuing with Anthony Reynoso: Born to Rope. On Wednesday we will be doing a fun activity where we get to practice our knowledge of the story along with our roping skills.

In writing, the kids have finished their Favorite Pet paragraph. We can't wait for you to see them. They will be coming home on Friday. On Wednesday, the kids will be writing all about their Halloween costumes.


In grammar we are finishing our work on verbs. On Monday we had a great time learning about present and past tense. Next week we start on subjects and predicates.

On Thursday we will be creating our poster in American history. We've chosen our subjects and researched them. Now it's time for us to share them with the class!
